drawing the photo above, which reminds me of this drawing of a griffin, from Bill Peet's "Pinkish Purplish Bluish Egg".

ReplyDeleteSecondly, and I know this isn't the point, but... thank you for mentioning Bill Peet's "Pinkish Purplish Bluish Egg." I had never even heard of Bill Peet, nor the book, which was odd to me, as I am an absolute lover of fantasy. I was struck by the art style and had to track down somewhere I could read the book, and found it extremely enjoyable, even as a 20 year old Engineering student.
I think my generation has missed a lot of treasures like this... so, thank you for sharing the picture of that gryphon.
